Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Christian Care Resources (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website and resources (the “Service”).
Our approach
Christian Care Resources is designed to be low-friction and privacy-respecting. A person who receives a care pack can read it and complete self-scoring reflections without creating an account and without signing in. Church members open the member library with an email address only: no password and no account to manage. We do not ask recipients for medical histories, and we do not collect protected health information (PHI).
Information we collect
- Church members: the email address you enter to open the member library and, if you arrived through your church’s link, which church shared it. We use this to give you access and to understand which churches are using the library.
- People we hear from: if you email us or share results, we receive whatever you choose to send.
- Usage information: standard, largely anonymous analytics such as pages visited and general device or browser type, used to understand and improve the Service.
- Cookies: we may use cookies or similar technologies for basic site function and analytics, including one that remembers you have opened the member library so you are not asked for your email again.
Self-scoring assessments
Our reflection and “growth check” tools score on your own device. We do not store your responses on our servers. If you choose to share a result (for example, by emailing it to a pastor, counselor, or friend), that sharing happens by your own action and through your own email.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Service, respond to your messages, keep the Service secure, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as website hosting and analytics), and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. These providers may access information only to perform work for us.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Readings written for teens are meant to be read with the support of a parent, youth leader, or other trusted adult. If you believe a child under 13 has given us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You may contact us to access, correct, or delete member information we hold about you, or to ask a question about this policy. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here.
