The Health Check runs entirely inside your browser. There is no server involved, so this is a browser or file problem, not a connection one.
Two things usually fix it: open the file in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari directly rather than inside another app’s preview window, and make sure the file downloaded completely.
Relationship Diagnostic Series
Twelve areas, ten minutes, two honest reads
You each answer the same twelve areas on your own, for the last 30 days. You each get your own read, and then a joint one showing where the two of you see the same relationship differently.
This isn't a test and it isn't a diagnosis. There's no passing score and no ranking against other couples. It's a fast way to see, across the whole relationship at once, where things are already solid and where the gap is widest. Those gaps are where a closer look tends to pay off.
Your information
Used to label your results, and to name whose answers are whose if you compare them later.
Answer on your own, without comparing notes. If your partner is taking it too, neither of you sees the other’s answers until you have both finished.
How it works
Four steps, and most of them are just answering honestly. About ten minutes.
Answer for how it is
Three statements per domain, one box each, 1 to 5. Answer for the last 30 days, not how things have generally been, and not how they were at their best. The answer wording shifts between statements on purpose, but every scale runs the same direction, and 5 is always the healthiest answer.
Then two more clicks
Priority: how much would addressing this actually move the needle? And Readiness: how ready are the two of you to work on it right now? Something can matter enormously and still not be where you're ready to start.
Send the other half
When you finish, you get a link for your partner. They won't see your answers until they've finished their own. There's nothing to match against.
Then read it together
Once you're both done, a joint page opens for the two of you: where you agree, where one of you is carrying something the other can't see, and the sentences you answered furthest apart.
First, something lighter
Ten quick questions about your own style. No right answer, no partner to manage yet, just you. Where you land between the two ends is entirely up to you, and most people aren't all the way at either end.
These aren't scored as good or bad, and they never touch your marriage scores. They're here to show where the two of you are naturally alike and where you're naturally different, which often explains more about a normal Tuesday than anything else in this assessment.
Before the serious half, here’s you
Ten answers, read back. This is a description of how you said you are wired, not a verdict on it, and none of it enters the marriage scores you are about to give.
Relationship Diagnostic Series
Your partner has finished theirs
Answer for yourself
Don’t try to guess what they said or match it. The comparison is only worth anything if both sets of answers are your own.
You’ll both see the same page
When you finish, a joint reading opens for both of you: your domain scores, your priorities, and the sentences you answered furthest apart.
About ten minutes
Thirty-six statements and twelve priority clicks. There’s nothing to sign up for and no account to make.
You won’t see their answers until you’ve finished your own. Their results came with this link, but this page keeps them sealed until you’ve answered all thirty-six statements yourself, so there is nothing to match, and no way to accidentally read ahead.
And so it isn’t a surprise afterwards: once you’re both done, your twelve domain scores, your twelve priority ratings, and the individual statements where the two of you answered furthest apart are all shown to your partner on the joint page, with your name on them. Your name and the length of the relationship are the only other things it carries.
